 LEGISLATIVE AGENDA 2012

  • Support legislation to create a dedicated source to fully fund the operation and maintenance of state veterans homes and state veterans cemeteries, veterans’ capital improvement projects, the Veterans Service Organizations' Service Officer Grant Program and other needs of Missouri’s veterans;
  • Support legislation to make Bingo more efficient and cost effective for veterans and other non-profit organizations to include a comprehensive review of the Bingo statutes, rules and regulations;
  • Support legislation to indicate veteran status on Missouri Drivers Licenses;
  • Support legislation to offer interest free small business loans for newly returned military veterans.
  • Provide assistance for small business owners who are veterans;
  • Establish a viable and enforceable Veterans Employment Program.
